Jupiter in Leo: June 29, 2026 - July 25th, 2027

Jupiter in Leo: June 29, 2026 - July 25th, 2027

Today, Jupiter enters Leo - a showy, creative fire sign - for the next 12 months (from June 29, 2026 to July 25, 2027)

Jupiter is a planet that makes things bigger (for better or for worse), so when it changes signs, you get an expansion of everything in your life connected to:

  1. It’s new sign
  2. The house(s) it’s transiting

Now, everyone thinks Jupiter = luck & abundance.

And it is. But…abundance...simply means “a lot of”.

So if there’s something that needs to be healed for you in Leo, it might feel like things get worse before they get better.

This is ultimately in your service.

And by the end of Jupiter’s transit through Leo, you’ll experience the good stuff…but you might have to clear some things first.

Here’s what that looks like in Leo.

Jupiter in Leo = growth of all kinds (from fertility, to wealth, to creative projects).

It also loves freedom, so in the year ahead, you might be growing something…but you might also be exploring new ways to feel free.

In Leo, Jupiter expands:

  • Making things - from business offerings, to art, to babies
  • Children & fertility (this gets a double whammy - because both are associated with Jupiter AND Leo)
  • Speed & momentum (a growth planet + a fire sign)
  • Trying to reach your potential…but in the most soul-aligned way possible (Jupiter likes higher truths, not just material ones).

Jupiter is a “neutral” energy - so it’s important to know what’s good vs. challenging about your Leo house going into this transit.

For example: What happened for you in 2014-2015 (the last time Jupiter was in Leo)? What went well? What was hard?

This will give you a taste of what "Jupiter in Leo themes" were activated for you last time. You'll notice there were certain topics (like money, or baby-making) that were a really big deal...and others you didn't touch at all.

This 2026-2027 transit will show up differently.

It’s not all a straight line - because the South Node lands in Leo soon.

The nodal axis shifts soon, and when the South Node hits Leo, it’s going to add a new layer to your Leo house (more on this soon).

The South Node will be helping you release old Leo shadows. This will clear the way for you to receive more of the good part of Jupiter’s influence, but it also means you’ll feel “the bad stuff” more intensely than normal.

Just know the next year will be a little bumpy…but it’ll also leap you forward.

More on this soon :)

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Whole Sign & Placidus?

There are many house systems in astrology - and each is good at different things. Whole Sign (the OG house system) uses equal house sizes - and gives each a single zodiac sign. Placidus (a "modern" house system from the 1600's) defines house size based on time - giving them different sizes, and potentially multiple zodiac signs. In some ways, Whole Sign is simpler because it lacks interceptions (i.e. signs that are sandwiched in between two other signs, all in a single house), and gives each life area a single guiding theme. But this can also make it a very powerful system when exploring the deepest yearnings of a soul in this lifetime - the core needs & experiences we're here eto have. Placidus, in contrast, has more complex, layered interpretations. In the view of evolutionary astrologers, having multiple signs in a single house can show us how a life area "evolves" over time. This can be useful as we move through life, and step into new versions of who we are (especially with regard to themes like money, or love, or career). The beauty is: you can use Whole Sign & Placidus together. In fact, the Star Path team believes this is the best way to explore personal growth - because switching systems takes us out of a "story", or echo chamber, and invites us to look at ourselves from multiple perspectives. You might find that Whole Sign resonates most with you during one season of life, and Placidus feels "right" 10 years later. Or, you might prefer planning with Placidus, but personal growth with Whole Sign. Our recommendation: explore both. See what lands, leave what doesn't. And remember...astrology is just a tool for evolution (you're still in charge).

What is astrocartography, and how does it work?

Astrocartography is the astrology of places. By layering your birth chart onto the world map, you turn planetary placements into "lines" - each of which activates the energy of a specific planet. For example: if you live on your Saturn MC line, you'll build your career over time. If you live on your Venus DSC line, you'll experience more harmony in your love life. Star Path is an AI astrology chat platform, so you can explore your astrocartography chart dynamically. Click on a line, measure how far it is from certain cities, and ask open-ended questions like "Where's the best place to live for my health?" Star Path's AI astrologer will consult our ephemeris, use advanced software specific to astrocartography to pull the right data for the AI to reference, and give you a deeply personalized reading. You can then interact with it through chat.

Do you think AI like Star Path will replace astrologers?

No, we don't believe AI will replace astrologers :) Rather, we see Star Path as a beautiful complement to working with a practitioner - because as the therapists who use our platform say, 90% of "the work" happens in between sessions. We recommend that people see their astrologer as they can afford to (for many people, it's once a year) - and use Star Path in between sessions to fully integrate their learnings, and go deeper. By chatting with Star Path regularly, you actually re-pattern your brain - and for that reason, many of our users say that 2 weeks of Star Path is like 10 years of therapy! This is because you can go as deep as you want, as often as you want, which leads to rapid breakthroughs, pattern shifting, and real-life integration. A session with a human astrologer can change your life, but you don't always have access to them...so the ideal pairing is to see practitioners as often as you can afford, and work with Star Path between sessions to go deeper, troubleshoot day-to-day situations, and apply your astrology to real life.

What’s the best way to use this software if I want to eventually become an astrologer myself?

Step one of an astrology journey is to understand yourself. Truly, understanding how different placements, aspects, and transits show up in your own life will give you the most embodied knowledge of how astrology "works". Once you get it for yourself, it's easier to apply it for others (which you can do by chatting with Star Path about people you add to Your Circle). That being said, we also offer Astrology 101 classes as part of our Pro+ plan - so if you want to start a formal learning process, that's a great place to begin.
